The Anglistenchor Heidelberg conducted by Alexander Albrecht presents its captivating and musically diverse summer concert under the programmatic title “Sing and Dance”, accompanied on the piano by Yannick Schwencke. The highlight of the evening will be the choral song cycle From the Bavarian Highlands by Edward Elgar in the original version for choir and piano,
The Anglistenchor will give a short open-air concert on 21 May 2023 at 11 am on Neuenheimer Marktplatz. The pieces include lively dance music as well as quiet ballads and hymns that have shaped British and Irish culture for centuries.
The concert in the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Walldorf with the Anglistenchor and Yannick Schwencke on the organ will be conducted by Alexander Albrecht. Admission is free, donations are welcome.

We’re ending our semester with a concert on Thursday, July 14 2022 at 8 pm in St. Johannes Church in Heidelberg-Rohrbach. Our a-cappella program will include, among others, works by Nystedt, Elgar, Tallis, Stopford, Monteverdi and others. Free admission, donations are welcome!
